African Savannah Camp Site Quiz

It’s time to set up camp.

You find a nice clear area. It looks like it has been trampled by lots of hoofs. You bash down some of the grass at the edges and set up your tent. The ground is too hard to hammer your tent pegs in without them bending so you tie your tent’s guy ropes to some rocks and a knobbly mound of hard earth.

Night falls quickly this close to the equator. By quarter to seven it’s already dark. You had to put your camp up quickly and you may have made some basic mistakes. This is what your campsite looked like when you turned in for the night.
