Explorers Wanted in the Wilderness

You mission is to head up an expedition into the Siberian wilderness in search of a giant meteorite crater.

7.17am June 30th 1908, Tunguska, Eastern Siberia. The biggest meteorite strike on Planet Earth in living memory. A lump of rock from outer space, about the size of a tennis court zoomed into the Earth’s atmosphere and exploded mid-air above the Siberian taiga. It was like an atom bomb going off. Trees were knocked flat for many miles around.

That much is established fact.

BUT... What happened to the meteorite? Now you’ve decided to go there, to locate the crater and hopefully even find a piece of the meteorite that you believe caused it. You are going to mount an expedition into the heart of the Siberian wilderness. Back
